At EGP our main goal is to prove or disprove the existence of paranormal activity. With this in mind we will arrive at the investigation site at a time agreed upon with the owners or proprietors of the property. Upon arrival, one of the lead investigators will interview the proprietors of the site as well as any staff, family, or other witnesses of activity. While the interview is being conducted, the rest of the team unpacks and begins to set up all of the equipment to be used during the investigation. They also check to make sure the equipment is functioning properly. After the cameras, DVR, and other equipment is set up the sensitive studies team will do a preliminary walk through to see if they “pick up” on anything. While the sensitives are doing their work other members do EMF and temperature sweeps to get baseline readings. After the interview, equipment setup, and sweeps are complete the team will break up into small groups, “go dark”, and begin the investigation. The groups investigate in the dark because this seems to heighten the other senses. During the investigation the teams will use many tools such as; digital recorders, EMF meters, different types of digital thermometers, infrared cameras, and even lasers. Another tool we use is our sensitives. Sensitives are people with “psychic” abilities. We use these people to help steer the scientific members of the team in the right direction. Sort of like a paranormal radar. After several hours the lead investigator will close the investigation. The equipment will be packed up and the team will leave. During the next week or so, members of EGP will go over all of the video and audio taken during the investigation. When and if a member finds anything out of the ordinary they will confer with other members in order to eliminate any “natural” explanation. If possible the alleged evidence is then set to a professional for scrutiny. If everyone is satisfied that there is no natural explanation then it officially becomes evidence. Once all evidence is gathered, one or more members of EGP will return to the site and reveal the findings (or lack of findings) to the property owner. The owners will then receive a copy of the evidence to keep for their records.

All evidence presented on this site is, to our knowledge, credible and legitimate. All of it is in almost raw form. The only editing is that audio and video has been clipped from a longer file. We know not everyone will believe this evidence, but we do try to present it as we have discovered it without enhancement. In addition, whenever possible, we try to have the evidence scrutinized by a professional in audio production, video production, or photography. Only evidence that can not be explained is posted.
