Gaither Report 2

On January 20, 2007 EGP Returned to Gaither Plantaton to reveal the team's findings and do a follow up investigation on the property. This time the focus would be on the church as well as the main house. During the reveal the sensitive team had some of their findings confirmed. This includes the possibility of a love triangle that went on amogst some of the members of the church.

In the church one team set up wireless cameras as well as a camcorder with nightvision capabilities. The wireless camera was then "connected" to a laptop computer that was to be used as a digital video recorder. The laptop was placed in a truck outside where it would recieve power continously from the vehicle. Team members noted the smell of some sort of scented oil. When the caretaker was asked about this scent he responded by telling the team only water was used for cleaning. The uncomfortable feelings the teams had experienced during the first investigation were not felt at this time. At around 10:00 PM the uncomfortable feeling returned and it was decided that both teams would converge on the church. Within 10 minutes of the "uncomfortable feeling" returning the wireless cameras failed and the camcorder once again experienced battery drain and failed. The laptop in the truck was then checked to see if anything was caught on video before the cameras failed. Upon checking the laptop it was found to be shut down and could not be restarted without removing and replacing the battery. WHen the laptop restarted it was found to have a fully charged battery. No video was captured. The team resorted to using it's other tools including digital cameras, digital voice recorders, and IR non-contact thermometers. It was noted that the interior of the church was a consistent 46 degrees farenheit. The team also brought along several laser pointers to try to duplicate the phenomenon experienced on the first investigation. The team was not disappointed when the beams were broken several times. One investigator then tried to provoke the phenomenon by setting in a chair behind the pulpit and challenging it to make him leave the chair. Apoximately five minutes after the challenge the investigator claims he was "thumped" behind the left ear and it was quite unnerving for him. The activity could not be duplicated. A picture was taken inside the church using a Nikon digital SLR camera. The picture shows a mist or fog in the shape of a woman in a dress. This phenomenon was not seen by any of the team members. The explanation of someones breath was dismissed because of the large size and temperature in the building.

In the house several EMF spikes were recorded as well as EVPs. Sensitives felt apprehesion in the attic area but nothing was found to be out of the ordinary. Video anomolies were once again captured in the bedrooms of the house. It must also be noted that the IR cameras experienced what could best be described as "interference". This was experienced even with the wired cameras and seemed to grow worse when the "spirits" were adressed. A picture of a smoke like substance was taken on the widows walk. No smoking is allowed in the building.

It is the opinion of EGP that this site does contain paranormal activity due to evidence gathered and personal experiences of team members
